Laboratory services

The accredited laboratories of Berliner Wasserbetriebe are specialised in physical, physical-chemical, chemical, biological and microbiological examinations of drinking water, wastewater, sludge and sediment.

Sampling, analysis, consultation and performance of audits – these are all services that our laboratories offer companies, municipal authorities, environmental authorities, research institutes and private customers. The latest analysis instrumentation is available for these examinations. With specially equipped vehicles, for example,

• Water samples can be taken from lakes and flowing rivers,
• Pump samples can be taken from groundwater mains, or
• Wastewater samples can be taken in accordance with the prescribed statutory regulations
