Interest in Klärwerk Wansdorf GmbH
Klärwerk Wansdorf GmbH went into operation in 1996 with the objective of building a new wastewater treatment plant. 49 percent of the shares in the company are held by Berliner Wasserbetriebe and 51 percent by the towns of Oranienburg, Velten, Hennigsdorf and Falkensee and by the Trink- und Abwasserzweckverband Glien. The wastewater treatment plant is owned by Klärwerk Wansdorf GmbH.
Märkischer Abwasser- und Wasserzweckverband (MAWV)
Berliner Wasserbetriebe is a member of this association with a 4% vote share. The MAWV has twelve member communities and is responsible for the drinking water supply and wastewater disposal for over 100,000 residents.
Wasser- und Abwasserzweckverband Ahrensfelde/Eiche
Berliner Wasserbetriebe has been a member of the Wasser- und Abwasserzweckverband Ahrensfelde/Eiche (WAZV A/E) since 1998, with a vote share of 20%. Drinking water and wastewater plants have been incorporated into the association. The association is responsible for the drinking water supply and wastewater disposal for 12,500 residents in the Ahrensfelde community, with four local districts.
Wasser Nord GmbH & Co. KG
Wasser Nord GmbH & Co. KG was founded 1994. Shareholders with 51% are the city of Hohen Neuendorf, the municipality Glienicke-Nordbahn and Zweckverband Fließtal. Berliner Wasserbetriebe hold a 49% interest.
Wasser Nord GmbH & Co KG supplies more than 53.900 residents of the communities Birkenwerder, Glienicke-Nordbahn and Mühlenbecker Land and the city Hohen Neuendorf with drinking water.
Additionally Wasser Nord organizes the wastewater billing for the community of Glienicke and the city owned wastewater enterprise of Hohen Neuendorf. Furthermore Wasser Nord realizes the commercial and technical plant management for the city owned wastewater enterprise of Hohen Neuendorf.
